Our purpose is to address the growing demand for and limited supply of support services specifically tailored for men and women with TBI and PTSD. Our main goal is to improve the lives of the men and women we serve. We introduce and teach them something so powerful they might gain a fresh outlook on life, we facilitate and offer challenges that give them strength, encouragement and a new network of friends and support; we provide contacts, information and resources to enable better their lives through fishing; we try to provide them with new skills to bring joy, enthusiasm and renewed hope as they confront the challenges of their survivorship.
Our program goal is to provide a safe, reflective environment for the participants to discuss their issues and recovery with other Veterans with shared experiences, thereby providing support fishing programs classes, fishing trips and information to help them out with their recovery.
